"URA-ON!" (うらおん!) is a short "B-side video theater" special included with the K-ON! discs. The first season has 7 episodes, and the second season has 9 episodes. In the second season, consistent with "K-ON!!", the title was changed to include two exclamation marks, becoming "URA-ON!!" (うらおん!!). Each episode is a short theater of about two to three minutes, with a simpler and more casual art style.Notably, the entire credits list is completelywritten in pure kana.。
In the list below, the title parts all omit the preceding "URA-ON" and the symbols surrounding the titles.

The 2009 anime first began distribution on February 9. From the 2nd episode (February 20) to the 5th episode (April 3), it was distributed bi-weekly. A total of thirty episodes were broadcast, and there are two CD albums ("Radion!" Special! Vol.1, "Radion!" Special! Vol.2).
PSP game. Released by Sega on September 30, 2010.
SEGA released an HD remaster of "K-ON! After School Live!!", which was previously released on the PSP platform in 2010, for the PS3 on June 21, 2012. Game data from the PSP version can be used with the PS3 version. The PS3 version not only features high-definition graphics but also uses improved 3D modeling to provide players with a more impactful visual experience. Regarding the 3D display highly promoted for the PS3, the game supports 3D display.
The first arcade game in the "K-ON!" series, "K-ON! After School Rhythm Time," began operation on April 26, 2013. The gameplay combines "card collecting" and "rhythm game" elements. "K-ON! After School Rhythm Time" integrates these two gameplay styles; after inserting coins, players can choose to "buy cards" or "play the game." If buying cards, up to five can be purchased consecutively. If playing the game, one card will be dispensed. Then, players select their supported character and scan their cards, up to three (the combination of card numbers also affects the final score and game content), and then they can play the music game. The first series features 48 types of cards and 11 songs from the first season.
To be precise, it is only the impact of the anime adaptation; the original work's evaluation and historical status are not that high. Rather, the success of the anime drove the original work.
Actually,KyoAni's adaptations, starting at the latest with "K-On!", have always leaned towards (positive) "original work destruction," and since Houbunsha didn't have as much attention in China back then as it does now, the first impression of "K-On!" is generally more associated with KyoAni than Houbunsha.
SinceKyoto AnimationDuring the adaptation process, a large amount of setting details were added, so the depictions of real-life people in the original work and the animeNetatake two completely different directions.
