Battles that advance the main storyline, featuringNormal、Emergencytwo difficulty levels andNight Battlemodes. Tactical Dolls drop in Normal and Emergency difficulties, while equipment drops in Night Battle mode. Combat is divided into two parts: "Tactical Advance" and "Real-time Combat."
During the Tactical Advance phase, players need to deploy combat echelons on map nodes based on available Action Points, issue various operational commands, and activate strategic Fairy skills to achieve different objectives.
During the Real-time Combat phase, players must adjust the positions of their combat units to share or evade damage.Although in many cases, one can just stand still and deal damage.
AtNormal、EmergencyIn most stages of both difficulties, the condition for completing the mission objective is to capture the enemy headquarters. Medals of different ranks are awarded based on the quality of mission completion.
Medals for most stages are calculated according to the above requirements, but as Girls' Frontline has evolved, the requirements for obtaining medals have become more flexible and diverse.
Obtaining all three medals (Gold, Silver, and Bronze) is a prerequisite for conducting Auto-battles in Normal and Emergency stages of the main storyline. For Night Battle stages in the main storyline, only clearing the stage is required.
AtNight BattleIn this mode, the mission objective is usually to eliminate all enemy forces within a limited number of turns, though a few stages have different requirements. Night Battle stages do not have Gold or Silver Medals; clearing them is considered as obtaining a Bronze Medal. Although event stages have medal conditions, Gold and Silver Medals are not actually awarded.

Sending echelons on Autonomous Combat allows you to gain experience and T-Dolls. After obtaining all Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals for a map, you can dispatch a specified number of echelons with Combat Effectiveness above a certain value to perform Autonomous Combat on that map. While Autonomous Combat is in progress, you can still perform normal combat, but normal combat echelons cannot be sent to the map currently undergoing Autonomous Combat, and you can only perform Autonomous Combat on one map at a time. However, an Autonomous Monthly Card has been released, allowing you to perform Autonomous Combat on two maps simultaneously.
Sending echelons on Logistics Support missions allows you to obtain resources, contracts, and items. A maximum of four echelons can be sent on Logistics Support missions at the same time. This is the primary non-IAP way to obtain resources, contracts, and items. A "Multiple Logistics" feature has been updated; in the bottom right corner of the logistics echelon selection interface, you can choose the number of times to automatically execute the logistics mission, from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 6. After logistics is completed, you can click the button in the bottom right corner to redeploy all echelons with the same number of executions as the previous time.

Enhancement Exercise is a Combat Simulation where players deploy a squad to advance through a simulated area and defeat the enemy at the final point to obtain Enhancement Capsules. Different difficulties have different numbers of random nodes (i.e., "?" nodes), where resources like Ammo and Parts or a number of Enhancement Capsules can be obtained; the difficulty affects this quantity. After defeating the enemy, one/two/three capsules are awarded based on the difficulty level.
Open at all times.
Data Sampling is a Combat Simulation where players deploy any five T-Dolls to hit targets and obtain enhancement materials. T-Dolls deployed here have no restrictions and can participate in any state, except for being critically damaged. Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced difficulties award Basic Training Data, Intermediate Training Data, and Advanced Training Data, respectively. This Combat Simulation has a 30-second time limit; the faster the target is destroyed within the time limit, the more Training Data can be obtained.
Open at all times.
| EXP Training has a total EXP value. After the battle, all T-Dolls deployed before the battle will share the EXP equally, regardless of the dummy links of the T-Dolls participating in the battle. Characters who die in battle can also gain EXP. The specific rules are as follows: Battle Victory:EXP gained per T-Doll = FLOOR(Total EXP / Total number of T-Dolls); Battle Defeat:EXP gained per T-Doll = FLOOR[Total EXP × (Number of enemy teams eliminated / Total number of enemies on the map) × 0.5 / Total number of T-Dolls]。 |

Note:Defense Drill does not reset.
Unlocked after clearing Night 2-4, it is the source for obtaining Equipment Calibration Tickets. In Defense Drill, players can deploy up to 4 echelons to participate in combat and must defend againstinfinite waves(Note)Currently, the maximum is 149 waves.of enemy attacks, consuming 3 Sim Energy per attempt. There is a checkpoint every 10 waves; clearing a checkpoint for the first time grants rewards such as resources and Equipment Calibration Tickets. If all T-Dolls in any echelon carried by the player are defeated, the operation ends. Players can also choose to exit the operation at any stage, and the next attempt will start from the last checkpoint. T-Dolls cannot be withdrawn individually in Defense Drill.

Implemented on January 25, 2018."Neural Upgrade" versionAfter the update, when the Commander level reaches 60, they can participate in "Neural Cloud Corridor" simulation combat. In Neural Cloud Corridors of different difficulties, there is only one enemy team, and depending on the difficulty, there are 1/2/3 random nodes (i.e., "?" nodes). Depending on the difficulty level, random nodes can grant different amounts of resources or 3/5/10 Memory Fragments. After defeating the enemy, 8/20/30 Memory Fragments are awarded based on the difficulty.

Select 5 T-Dolls from the ones provided by the system to form an echelon and challenge the stage. The enemies and provided T-Dolls rotate weekly, and rewards are obtained upon clearing the battle.
If the clear time is shorter than the system's estimated base time, the amount of rewards obtained increases, up to a maximum of +20%. Conversely, rewards can decrease by at most -10%.

Past event campaigns added after the 2017 Summer Event update. Here, you can obtain missed login reward T-Dolls and unlock story segments you couldn't see due to being unable to clear the stages.
You can also receive special rewards after clearing them, though they are not the same as the rewards from the original events.
Compared to the original events, the Campaign versions have reduced map sizes and generally lower enemy strength, making them easier to clear.

Form echelons and preset formations. Changing positions during battle does not affect the preset formation bonus. Up to 14 echelons can be formed; without purchasing with Gems, there are only 4. The 5th echelon slot costs 480 Gems, and slots from the 6th to the 14th cost 880 Gems each.
Each echelon can consist of 5 T-Dolls. In the preset formation, placing Dolls in different positions affects the combat performance of other characters. White tiles represent the Doll's position, while blue tiles represent the positions of Dolls that can be affected. Buffs include Damage, Rate of Fire, Evasion, etc. Arranging formations reasonably and selecting appropriate gun types can improve the overall combat effectiveness of the team. Changing Doll positions during battle does not affect the bonuses generated by the preset formation, but the buff tiles will still follow the Doll's movement. This affects Dolls whose skills are released to specific positions, such as K5, Px4 Storm, Jericho, P22, Dorothy, S.A.T.8, etc. There are also collaboration Fairies Anna and Preya & Camillia, their skills will be released to the buff tiles of their current position rather than the preset position.

The game provides over 350 types of T-Dolls for players to collect. To complete the operational missions assigned by the company, Commanders usually need the cooperation of various T-Dolls.
Usually, newly collected T-Dolls struggle to meet the requirements of high-level combat. At this point, players can cultivate T-Dolls through leveling up, attribute enhancement, dummy linking, etc., to improve their combat capabilities.
Invest Manpower, Ammunition, Rations, and Parts to construct T-Dolls. Initially, there are 2 construction slots, which can be expanded to a maximum of 8 by purchasing with Gems in the Shop. Construction is divided into Normal Construction and Heavy Construction. The lower limit for Normal Construction resources is 30 (ALL), and the upper limit is 999 (ALL); for Heavy Construction, the lower limit is 1000 (ALL), and the upper limit is 9999 (ALL). Heavy Construction is divided into 3 tiers: Tier 1 costs 1 T-Doll Production Contract and 3 Cores; Tier 2 costs 20 T-Doll Production Contracts and 5 Cores; Tier 3 costs 50 T-Doll Production Contracts and 20 Cores. The higher the tier, the easier it is to construct high-rarity T-Dolls. Tier 3 Heavy Construction only yields 4 to 5-star T-Dolls.
Normal Construction yields 2-star to 5-star T-Dolls, while Heavy Construction is guaranteed to yield 3-star or higher T-Dolls.
The unlock condition for Heavy T-Doll Production is clearing 30 different stages.
See alsoGirls' Frontline/T-Doll Production。
Upon reaching a certain level, T-Dolls can undergo Dummy Linking using identical T-Dolls or Dummy Cores. After Dummy Linking, an additional T-Doll will be added to the original combat slot, up to a maximum of 5. Dummy Linking increases the experience multiplier gained from combat victories, rising from 1x to 3x as the link count increases from 1 to 5, with an increment of 0.5 each time.
Dummy Linking a T-Doll increases the resource consumption for deployment; the more links, the higher the consumption, with combat consumption increasing accordingly. During deployment, each link consumes 2 Manpower. Losing dummy links in battle does not affect the resource consumption of the battle.
The requirement for the consumed identical T-Doll is simply that it must be the "same model."
| Dummy Link | Required Identical T-Dolls | Required Level |
|---|---|---|
| 1→2 | 1 | Level 10 |
| 2→3 | 1 | Level 30 |
| 3→4 | 2 | Level 70 |
| 4→5 | 3 | Level 90 |
You can choose to consume Cores instead of duplicate T-Dolls for Dummy Linking. The number of Cores required depends on the T-Doll's star rating; the amount needed for each missing duplicate is as follows:
| Star rating of the missing duplicate T-Doll | Cores Required |
|---|---|
| Extra (★) | 15 |
| ★★ | 1 |
| ★★★ | 3 |
| ★★★★ | 9 |
| ★★★★★ | 15 |
Note: For HGs, Dummy Linking also means an improvement in buff effects. Each link increases the initial buff value by 25%. For example: PPK's initial buff values are "Rate of Fire +16%, Critical Hit Rate +8%". After one link, it becomes "Rate of Fire +20%, Critical Hit Rate +10%". At max links, the buff effect becomes "Rate of Fire +32%, Critical Hit Rate +16%".

In Girls' Frontline, a T-Doll's HP stat changes with level, while other stats do not. However, the stat caps increase as the level rises, making T-Doll enhancement an important way to increase combat effectiveness.
Fusing other T-Dolls into a specific T-Doll can increase its stats. (This is commonly known as "feeding fodder".)
However, using only a few T-Dolls as enhancement materials has no effect; multiple T-Dolls must be used to see results. The specific enhancement effects are displayed on the right side of the T-Doll selection interface. Yellow numbers indicate that the attribute has been enhanced to its maximum for that level.
Besides feeding fodder, Enhancement Capsules can also be used for enhancement. Enhancement Capsules are primarily obtained from Enhancement Exercises in Combat Simulations on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. For more details, seeGirls' Frontline: T-Doll Enhancementpage.
Disassemble the T-Doll's armaments and fire-control core, converting them into civilian Dolls.Mining coal, working as a cafe waiter, can obtainvery fewresources; disassembling 3-star and above T-Dolls yields Cores. The number of Cores obtained is as follows:

Allows for the construction of equipment for T-Dolls. By investing Manpower, Ammunition, Rations, and Parts, equipment can be manufactured. Starts with 2 construction slots, expandable up to 8.
Every T-Doll has three equipment slots. These slots are unlocked as the T-Doll's level increases—one slot each at Level 20, 50, and 80 for equipping gear. Note that the types of equipment allowed in the slots vary by T-Doll type, so plan and arrange carefully for the equipment to be most effective.
Dismantling excess equipment yields a small amount of resources.

Enhance equipment by using Universal Parts and other equipment as enhancement materials to increase the stats of the enhanced equipment.
If the equipment fodder and the equipment being enhancedshare the same name, the equipment being enhanced will receive 3 times the development value. Therefore, using gold equipment to feed 16lab equipment or exclusive equipment will not yield 3 times the development value, even if the equipment's star rating and category are the same.
Calibrate equipment whose attributes are not the best among the same type of equipment. This requires Equipment Calibration Tickets and resources, which can be obtained from Defense Drills. Each calibration has a certain chance to change the equipment's attributes. After a successful calibration, if the player is dissatisfied with the current attributes, they can restore them to the state before calibration, but the consumed calibration tickets and resources will not be returned. Calibrating equipment will never result in an overall decrease in attributes; in most cases, restoration is not necessary after calibration.
| Calibration Count | Tickets Consumed |
|---|---|
| 1 | 5 Calibration Tickets |
| 2 | 10 Calibration Tickets |
| ≥3 | 15 Calibration Tickets |
Fairies can be enhanced by consuming other Fairies and materials. Enhanced Fairies will gain development value. Once both the development value and the Fairy's level reach certain numbers, the Fairy can increase its star rating, improving its aura effects and the activation probability of its talent.
The base development value for each enhancement is 10.
If the consumed Fairy and the target Fairy have the same name, they will receive 10 times the development value.
If the consumed Fairy and the target Fairy have the same talent, they will receive 1.5 times the development value.
These two bonus effects can stack if the conditions are met, resulting in 15 times the development value.

Fairies can change their Talents by consuming Calibration Tickets and resources. Players can choose a Talent suitable for the Fairy based on the current situation, but please note that the new Talent is given randomly during calibration, and players cannot specify the desired Talent.
Each Fairy calibration costs a fixed amount of 600 Manpower, 600 Ammo, 600 Rations, 200 Parts, and 60 Calibration Tickets.

T-Dolls need to be repaired promptly after taking damage. Repairing consumes a certain amount of Manpower and Parts and takes time. The resources and time consumed depend on the amount of HP lost; if HP falls below 30%, the T-Doll is heavily damaged, and consumption increases significantly. The initial number of repair slots is 4, and additional slots can be purchased with Diamonds in the Infrastructure section of the Shop, up to a maximum of 8 slots.
Oathed T-Dolls have their repair time reduced by 30%.
Currently, T-Dolls that are not heavily damaged will be automatically restored to full HP after the current battle ends; only heavily damaged T-Dolls require repair. T-Dolls will recover a small amount of HP at the end of each turn based on their repair value. Heavy damage repair calculation remains the same as before.Mica has also removed career quests related to repairs, and the rewards have disappeared along with them.

The current game's main entertainment and friend interaction gameplay system.
Initially, Dorms 1 and 2 are unlocked, with a maximum of 14 dorms (Dorm T-Dolls correspond to Echelon T-Dolls, and the maximum number of dorms is the same as the number of echelons).
In the dorm, you can pull for furniture and T-Doll costumes and unlock the Index.
In the dorm, you can visit
Affection level of Tactical Dolls towards the Commander. Each newly obtained Doll starts with 50 initial Affection, with a maximum of 100 and a minimum of 0. Affection changes based on the Doll's deployment and battle results (after the Dorm system was launched, Dolls in the Dorm also gain Affection over time, related to the Dorm's Comfort). Every victory increases the Doll's Affection, with the Leader and MVP receiving 20% and 30% (stackable) Affection acquisition bonuses respectively. If a Doll's HP drops to zero in a non-boss battle (excluding Combat Simulation and Theater), that Doll loses 10 Affection, and other Dolls in the same echelon lose 5 points (but Dolls already destroyed before the start of the battle do not lose Affection). If multiple Dolls' HP drop to 0, the Affection penalty does not stack. In boss battles, if a Doll falls, Affection neither increases nor decreases. After reaching 100 Affection, you can perform

Divided into Daily Tasks, Weekly Tasks, Frontline Protocol Extra Weekly Tasks, Main Tasks, Career Tasksand Intelligence Tasks, completing them as required yields corresponding rewards. Daily/Weekly task rewards include Tokens, Resources, T-Doll Production Contracts, Equipment Production Contracts, Quick Production Contracts, Quick Repair Contracts, Dummy Cores, etc. Main task rewards include Gems (obtainable from Campaign Gold Medals; Normal difficulty Gold Medals reward 10 Gems, Emergency difficulty and Chapter 0 Gold Medals reward 30 Gems, Night battles have none),very fewResources, T-Doll Production Contracts, Quick Production Contracts, Quick Repair Contracts, Dummy Cores, etc.
Currently, an Activity Bar is placed above the task list, resetting every Monday at 0:00. Reaching 50, 100, 150, 200, and 250 Activity points allows you to claim corresponding gift packs.
In the bottom
Frontline Protocol is divided into two parts: Protocol Supply (available to everyone) and Incremental Supply (requires separate purchase). Protocol Supply and Incremental Supply distribute rewards based on "experience progress" and "level." Protocol Supply provides a reward every one or two levels, while Incremental Supply provides a reward for every level. When the level is greater than 45, a certain reward can be obtained for each additional level, and the rewards for each level thereafter are the same. Each period of Frontline Protocol will launch a corresponding T-Doll costume based on the new costume theme at that time, which can only be obtained by purchasing the Incremental Protocol and reaching level 25.
(This function is built into the T-Doll Index)
On May 3, 2018, the game updated the "T-Doll Recovery" function. For T-Dolls that are already in the Index but not in the Armory (i.e., they were retired), you can consume a certain amount of cores to recall the T-Doll. The number of cores consumed is equal toDummy Linkthe number of Dummy Cores for that T-DollSo it's actually creating a gun out of nothing.。
Both Tactical Dolls and Extra Dolls can be recalled through T-Doll Recovery.
If you missed a T-Doll's acquisition screen, you can dismantle the T-Doll and then use T-Doll Recovery to view the acquisition screen again.Of course, it's more convenient to find screenshots from other players online.。
To recover a T-Doll, enter the Index, find the corresponding T-Doll, and click on them. If they can indeed be recovered, there will be a recovery option in the top left corner; just click to confirm.
However, this featurecan only be used once a week, and only one T-Doll can be recovered at a time, so be careful when dismantling guns; the cost of recovery is even higher!
For details, see:Girls' Frontline/Limited-Time Operations
Generally organized by quarter, there are specialized limited operation missions (events). Depending on the season, they are usually referred to as Spring Event, Summer Event, Autumn Event, and Winter Event.
Major operation events generally occur twice a year, divided into
Limited combat events generally have higher difficulty, and the rewards for clearing them are usually limited T-Dolls and equipment that cannot be obtained through other means for a long period of time.

However, because the book was started early, the author could only write the plot based on the files included in the first edition setting collection available at the time. Consequently, from today's perspective, many parts of the book have been retconned by official lore and contain factual errors. At the same time, due to maintaining high-intensity updates for a long time and being obsessed with "compensating for quality with quantity," the author eventually entered a period of writing fatigue and developed an aversion to updating. On the other hand, because the author suffered the death of a relative and severe family conflicts in mid-2019, they eventually dropped the story after posting a follow-up outline on a certain day in May. However, miraculously, this author flip-flopped repeatedly over the next year: first announcing a reboot of "I, Sangvis Ferri" in August 2019, expanding into an IF line from the end of Volume 1 and resuming updates; but after serializing well for 3 months, it was dropped again in November 2019. Then in April 2020, they wrote a detailed autobiography in the third person, explaining why they didn't continue the story and what setbacks they faced, finally announcing they would no longer update "Sangvis Ferri" and would instead write a new book, "UMP45, Behind Me, Live on with a Smile." Currently, this book is in the awkward position of having both the main world and the IF line unfinished. However, considering the author's emotional journey and the fact that many readers still cheer them on, it is hoped that they can pull themselves together in the future, finish the new book properly, and provide a satisfying answer to all expectant readers. |
