- Fumihiko Takaba is one of the many ordinary people who wereKenjakutransformed intohis own strict father'ssorcerers; before this, he was a very unsuccessful comedian.
- Fumihiko Takaba often tells unfunny jokes regardless of the occasion, sometimes even infuriating his opponents.
- But despite his jokes being terrible and his luck being poor, he still maintains a positive and optimistic attitude, adhering to the concept of entertainment above all else.
- After becoming a Culling Game player, Fumihiko Takaba changed into a very exaggerated blue bodysuit with a smiley face belt, which even only covers the left halfand the exposed crotch area has to be covered withMahitoa matching "Cursed" speech bubble. However, he didn't actually participate in the Culling Game in the true sense, because he always adhered to a non-killing principle, resulting in him not killing a single person.

- Takaba's innate technique, which uses Cursed Energy to turn things he finds funny or thinks will make people laugh into reality.Roughly equivalent to the Jujutsu Kaisen version ofBohemian Rhapsody, and can even divert the opponent's attention, causing them to neglect their surroundings.

- If his self-confidence suffers a mental attack leading to negative emotions, the technique will be significantly weakened and he will lose its protection; severe psychological setbacks will cause the technique to fail.
- If his desire for comedy is fully satisfied, the technique will also fail and enter a burnout state.

They hired amateur actors to perfectly cosplay Takaba and Kenjaku, and even commissioned a promotional truck featuring Takaba's "WiFi joke" to parade through Tokyo's busy districts.
