One of the legendary "High-Cloud Quintet," bestowed with the title "Wú
Having transcended mortal victories and defeats, she chose a completely different path to obtain the power to slay a "god."
Since then, the Xianzhou's records lost a "Sword Champion" of the Luofu and gained a "traitor" whose name was erased.
Jingliu was born on the Xianzhou "Cangcheng." In her childhood, Cangcheng was devoured by the Living Star "Rahu." Having escaped with her life, she joined the Cloud Knights, refined her swordsmanship, and eventually became the Sword Champion of the Luofu.
While still the previous Sword Champion of the Luofu, Jingliu took the young Jing Yuan as her apprentice. When fighting against the Mara-struck, she cautioned Jing Yuan that falling into Mara is the destiny of long-life species, and no matter who the opponent once was, one must show no mercy.
| “ | "Uphold this oath, we Cloud Knights are like a cloud veil obscuring the sky, guarding the Xianzhou. Draw your sword!" | ” |
Later, she was listed as one of the "High-Cloud Quintet" along with Jing Yuan, Yingxing, Dan Feng, and Baiheng. She received the "Shard Sword" from Yingxing and became a great hero of the Xianzhou. According to military records, she slew the Wingweavers' Feathered Guards, the Borisin's Father Wolf, and weaponized beasts as tall as mountains. The Borisin Warhead Hoolay was also captured by Jingliu.
During the Shuhu Uprising, the High-Cloud Quintet, including Jingliu, fought against the Emanator of Abundance "Shuhu," but were defeated. In the moment of crisis, Baiheng sacrificed herself along with Shuhu to save Dan Feng and Jingliu.
In Year 7379 of the Star Calendar, Dan Feng and Yingxing attempted to use the modified Transmutation Arcanum to resurrect Baiheng, but instead created a Draconic Abomination. Jingliu endured great pain to slay it. After the Sedition of Imbibitor Lunae, Jingliu found Yingxing, who had been transformed into a long-life species, and killed him repeatedly under the guise of "teaching swordsmanship," also discarding the Shard Sword Yingxing had forged for her.
In Year 7380 of the Star Calendar, Jingliu fell into Mara. Jing Yuan painfully led the Cloud Knights to suppress the Mara-struck Jingliu at Starskiff Haven, defeating her with the Lightning-Lord and ending the chaos. After this battle, Jingliu went missing and was once presumed dead. Actually, according toLuochawhat she said, Jingliu traveled beyond the stars after this and found a way to kill "The Abundance" Yaoshi.
Since then, the position of the Luofu Sword Champion has remained vacant, as no one has been able to inherit the title after Jingliu.
She reappeared on the Luofu to track down Blade's whereabouts. She claimed that to avoid being affected by Mara, she covered her eyes with a black silk cloth, obscuring the scenery of the Xianzhou.
During her investigation at Cloudford, she encountered Jing Yuan's apprentice, Yanqing, who was also investigating Blade. She acted together with him while he was unaware of her identity. When Yanqing fought against Abominations of Abundance, she provided a detailed analysis of his swordsmanship, causing Yanqing to become suspicious of her. Jingliu believed that Yanqing's strength was far from being a match for either herself or Blade, and proposed that they act together. Yanqing did not want to be looked down upon by Jingliu, so she proposed a contest of slaying abominations: if Yanqing won, Jingliu would be imprisoned; if Jingliu won, Yanqing would share Blade's whereabouts.
Yanqing clearly underestimated Jingliu's strength and ultimately lost to her in the contest. The continuous intense fighting seemed to trigger Jingliu's Mara-struck condition, and she demanded that Yanqing take a strike from her at full power. Yanqing felt an overwhelming sense of pressure but ultimately summoned the courage to agree, doing his best to withstand Jingliu's strike.
Jingliu bid farewell to Yanqing. Yanqing believed that a dangerous person like Jingliu must not find Blade before he did, so he resumed his pursuit of Blade.
She went to the Shackling Prison and appeared while Luocha and Jing Yuan were in a standoff. She reminded Jing Yuan that everything happening on the Xianzhou was a prelude to the confrontation between Aeons, warned Jing Yuan and the Cloud Knights not to stop her and Luocha, and vowed to put an end to the "Abundance."
Jingliu surrendered herself to the Seat of Divine Foresight but also set a condition, requesting one day of freedom before her trial to meet old friends and reminisce in Scalegorge Waterscape, which Jing Yuan granted. Jingliu also sent an unsigned letter to the Astral Express, inviting Dan Heng to revisit the old haunts.
Jingliu entered the Seat of Divine Foresight accompanied by Yanqing and others. Dan Heng also arrived at the Seat of Divine Foresight, but the reincarnated Dan Heng had already forgotten Jingliu and further denied his relationship with his previous life, Dan Feng. Jingliu first went to Central Starskiff Haven with Yanqing, Dan Heng, and others, where she commemorated Baiheng, recalled her character, and held a memorial service for her, while criticizing Imbibitor Lunae for his actions that caused the Sedition of Imbibitor Lunae after Baiheng's death. Subsequently, she went to the Artisanship Commission, reminiscing about the time when Blade was still Yingxing, lamenting that Yingxing was foolish enough to try to use the flesh and blood of an Emanator of Abundance to resurrect the deceased, which resulted in him turning from a short-life species into an immortal monster. She further confessed that it was she who bestowed swordplay and countless deaths upon Blade, turning him into what he is now. For the third stop, Jingliu went to the Alchemy Commission to seek a consultation from Bailu and ask if she had seen Blade. Bailu found her pulse to be ice-cold, and Jingliu revealed that she had made a "deal" and chose "hatred," the most intense emotion, to maintain her sanity.
Finally, Jingliu arrived at Scalegorge Waterscape to meet with Jing Yuan, Luocha, and Blade. Jing Yuan assigned Yanqing to escort Luocha back to the Shackling Prison, and four of the former High-Cloud Quintet gathered here. Jingliu recalled the past when the High-Cloud Quintet made their oaths there, enumerated the sins of Imbibitor Lunae, Yingxing, and herself, and finally stated that it was now time to pay the price and that the High-
Before departing, Blade asked Jingliu for his "reward," requesting that she strike him with the promised sword blow. However, Jingliu stated she could not truly kill Blade, as a mortal sword cannot kill the flesh of an Emanator. Blade insisted, and Jingliu refused to strike someone with no will to live. Thus, the two dueled. Ultimately, Jingliu won, piercing Blade's heart with a single strike just as she had when teaching the immortal Blade swordsmanship, granting him a brief "death" once more.
Jingliu bid farewell to Dan Heng, believing he could never escape the past, but also hoping that after she witnessed the fall of "The Abundance," Dan Heng and Blade would also find liberation.
Jingliu and Luocha were interrogated on the Xianzhou Yuque. After investigation, the two claimed that bringing the Stellaron into the Luofu was merely a distraction, consistent with Jing Yuan's speculation. Their true goal was to meet the Marshal and demonstrate a method to kill an Aeon. To this end, Luocha revealed the contents of his coffin—a part of the remains of Tayzzyronth, "The Propagation," calling it a nail that could firmly pin Yaoshi, "The Abundance," onto the path of doom. At the same time, Jingliu and Luocha introduced Ruan Mei as an ally for this plan to slay an Aeon.
Silver Wolf mentioned that if the Astral Express had headed to the "Agate World" Melustein, they would have crossed paths with Zephyro, and the Xianzhou Alliance would have drifted away from Trailblaze, returning to its original ending: Jingliu would seize the Lightning-Lord, merge the Propagation's divine body with the Lightning-Lord, and amidst the fluttering wings of the Swarm, become the eighth Lord Ravager to oppose "The Abundance."

| Dialogue Scenes | Dialogue |
|---|---|
| First Meeting | Jingliu is but a castaway of the Xianzhou, a wandering swordswoman. If you do not wish for trouble, you may pretend we have never met. |
| Greeting | Spare me the pleasantries. Tell me, what is your purpose here? |
| Farewell | The universe is vast. When we next meet... I wonder if we will be friend or foe, living or dead? |
| About Self: Sword Champion | Fleeting fame is like dispersing clouds. I violated the laws of the Ten-Lords Commission, and so the Xianzhou erased everything about me. But what of it? A fine sword cuts through things by its edge, not its reputation. |
| About Self: The Black Blindfold | I have long since surpassed my limits and wander the borders of becoming Mara-struck. Rather than seeing old things and being consumed by the flames of hatred, I would rather blindfold myself with black silk and walk wherever I please. |
| Chat: Cangcheng | My hometown was the most prosperous among the Xianzhou ships, a scenic paradise known as "Cangcheng." Later, it was swallowed by a living star spawned by the Plagues Author... Even the long-life species, who style themselves as celestials, are but a handful of stardust. |
| Chat: Ephemeral Sword | All techniques performed through physical form are but minor paths. Now, I have discarded mortal steel and stolen a sliver of moonlight to illuminate the myriad rivers of the world. This is the "sword" in my hand, governed by my heart, omnipresent. |
| Hobbies | Let me think... In the beginning of my life, my favorite thing was practicing swordsmanship and defeating powerful enemies; later, it was tasting the various fine wines Baiheng brought back from the stars; and now... it is making my enemies suffer so much they wish they were dead. My hobbies are quite strange, aren't they? |
| Troubles | The sword in my hand is no larger than a needle compared to heaven and earth. How then can it cleave the stars? |
| Sharing | Like you, I have also received a gaze. However, that was a path I stepped onto of my own volition—entering the depths of the Ten-Lords Commission on the Xianzhou Xuling, passing through the Gate of Many Wonders, and embarking on the path to liberation. |
| Observations | The scenery of the Luofu's Exalting Sanctum hasn't changed in a thousand years; it's not nearly as beautiful as Starskiff Haven over there, which was rebuilt after being destroyed in the great war. |
| regardingJing Yuan | He wasn't suited for martial arts. But must choosing a disciple depend on talent? That's just a master being lazy, wanting to achieve more with less effort, or perhaps wanting to gain fame through their disciple. Fame, legacy... I care for none of those. My sword—whoever wants to learn, I shall teach. |
| regardingBlade | I once taught him swordplay in an "unforgettable" manner. On the day his training was complete, he swore to return the favor of that lesson. I look forward to that day's arrival. |
| regardingDan Feng | The Vidyadhara High Elder Dan Feng had his body forged by secret arts, remaining the same for a thousand generations. To me, this is not a blessing, but a shackle. He eventually broke free, but it shouldn't have been in that manner... |
| regardingBaiheng | She seemed to talk to me about the stars she flew past, the wonders she traveled through, the dangers she escaped... but I can't remember any of it. Those memories spin around in my head... no matter how I try, I cannot grasp them. |
| regardingYanqing | Though he is only just beginning to show his talent, his growth is quite promising. However, in the way of the sword, one cannot glimpse its true essence without being covered in wounds and blood, and taking countless lives. |
| regardingLuocha | That person is like me; a hole has opened in their heart. No matter what they do, it cannot be filled. The harder they try to fill it, the more exhausted they become. |
| Eidolon Activation | The reflection on the blade mirrors many pasts. |
| Character Ascension | If I am to cut down the stars in the sky, it will still take a very, very long time. |
| Max Level | Since completing my training, not a day has gone by that I haven't sought a breakthrough; the end of this journey will naturally not be here. |
| Trace Activated | All the things of the past are like the scars engraved upon this body. |
| Team Formation: Yanqing | Little boy, let me see if your swordplay has improved. |
| Team Formation: Jing Yuan | How nostalgic. Just like in the past, I'll leave the strategy for defeating the enemy to you, Jing Yuan. |
| Team Formation: Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae | Imbibitor Lunae... standing side by side with you feels like something from a long time ago. |
| Team Formation: Blade | Insisting on keeping that broken sword, is it because you don't want to forget the past... "Blade"? |
