Believing that modern sorcerers are weak because they retain their humanity, but Hakari is different from them; therefore, Uraume no longer viewed Hakari as a human and decided to go all out to defeat him. However, after the battle between the two, Gege never depicted it again, skipping straight to the end, which led many netizens to come up with various headcanons about what Uraume and Hakari were doing in their spare time (such as sneaking off for a Pachinko match, meeting at a cafe, and other such delusions). Finally, with Sukuna's death, Uraume also began to dissipate. After telling Hakari that they were just lucky to be born a thousand years late, Uraume committed suicide using Ice Formation; as ice crystals scattered across the sky, their death was declared. After the Shinjuku Showdown concluded, Sukuna met in the soul reincarnation passageMahito, Mahito, who accused Sukuna of showing weakness after his defeat, but Sukuna didn't care, stating that if there were a next life, he would take the path he hadn't walked.
