That kingdom that reveres death, Edyria, where snow falls all day long, has today sunk into a sweet slumber.
Hade, daughter of the River Styx, a Golden Scion seeking the spark of "Death," set forth. You must care for the wailing of the world's souls and embrace the loneliness of fate
— Life and death are both journeys; when the butterfly alights on a branch, that which has withered shall be born anew.
Xiadie's past life andPolytheiaWere twin sisters prophesied in their previous life to become the Demigod of "Death." According to the prophecy, the trial of the Demigod of "Death" was to take the life of one's closest kin, but Polytheia was never prepared to lose her loved one. When all eleven sparks had been returned and only the "Death" spark remained missing, the elder sister prepared to sacrifice herself, asking her younger sister to cut out her heart to bring life to the new world. Polytheia, who became the Titan of "Death" Thanatos in the new world, was determined to resurrect her sister. She used the authority of "Death" and the alchemy taught by her master to recreate her sister's life, descending to the twins' homeland Styxia in the form of the dragon Pollux. However, the price of equivalent exchange could not be violated. As the authority of "Death" was split in two, Pollux bore the curse of "Refusing Death," having already died at the moment of descent. Its remains blocked the River Styx, preventing the dead from reaching the underworld; the elder sister within its belly was imposed with the curse of "Bestowing Death." As the River Styx was blocked, souls unable to die flooded Styxia, destroying the city-state. The Queen of Styxia believed the cursed infant was an opportunity for redemption granted by the gods, so she handed the infant to Amunet, the elder of Aethelia and head of the executioners. Inspired by the image of "a butterfly landing on the branch of 'Death'," Amunet named the infant Xiadie.
Amunet brought Xiadie to Aethelia and trained her to become a respected "Battle-Overseeing Saintess." Due to the curse of death, she could not play like other children and could only make three with her shadow; her loneliness fueled a deep longing to embrace others. Amunet taught Xiadie using the Aethelian concept of respecting death, attempting to make her understand the weight of life and death. However, burdened by the curse of death, Xiadie did not see it that way; she felt her actions were merely taking lives, devoid of any meaning. Initially, Xiadie was very resistant to her duties as an executioner and even fled at one point
After the destruction of Aethelgard, Castorice began to walk alone on the earth, trying to find the answer to the question of death and searching for what she could leave behind. Finally, she came to Okhema. The Senate gave her a small hut on the condition that she "obey Aglaia completely." Aglaia, who had always been at odds with the Senate's opposition, warmly welcomed Castorice's arrival, and Castorice embarked on the Journey of Fire-Chasing. During the journey, she met many companions and developed hobbies such as handicrafts, photography, and writing. She experienced many "firsts" in the human world and even studied abroad at the Tree Garden, where she met Nakesha. However, the "Death" spark remained unknown, and she still took it as her mission to eliminate death in the world, searching for what she could leave behind.
Castor ran to the Marble Market of the Eternal Holy City, Okhema, with the Trailblazer and Dan Heng, where they met Castorice. Castorice emitted an eerie purple aura that incapacitated nearby Titan kin. She recognized the two outsiders with Castor and then took the lead to the Marble Palace, requesting the outsiders to keep their distance. However, her aura could not affect the Scourge Vanguards. After Castor's group defeated the Scourge Vanguards, she saw them off and returned to the market to handle the aftermath herself.
After the Trailblazer and Dan Heng walked to the Terravore Workshop, they met Castorice at the workshop. Castorice guided the Trailblazer's group on how to feed the Terravores., if the Trailblazer chooses to "eat the feed in front of the Terravore" while feeding it, Castorice will be amused by the Trailblazer's disheveled appearance after eating the red soil.Dan Heng wanted to use March 7th's camera to take a photo of himself and the Trailblazer. Castorice agreed to let them use the camera to take a photo with the Terravore, but she requested that they place the camera on the ground first. After the photo was taken, she placed the camera back on the ground for Dan Heng and the others to retrieve directly. When Dan Heng and the Trailblazer looked, the photo Castorice took was actually in black and white. Castorice later explained that she personally likes this kind of filter.
Soon after, the Trailblazer and Dan Heng were interrogated by Aglaia on the pretext that Damianos knew and publicized the news of the "Beyond." At the same time, Castorice was appointed by Aglaia as the executioner for this interrogation. When the golden silk threads Aglaia used for binding wavered, she would approach the Trailblazer and Dan Heng upon Aglaia's command.
The Trailblazer and Dan Heng answered Aglaea's questions honestly, so Hadi did not execute them. Immediately after, Bayer arrived at the scene and sought peace with Aglaea using the attitude the Trailblazer and Dan Heng had during the battle.

The lies fabricated by the Trailblazer and Dan Heng were all seen through by Aglaea using the golden threads. Aglaea let Hadi approach the two step by step and had Hadi deliver a "Merciful Farewell" for this. Immediately after, Hadi reached out her fingers one by one toward the Trailblazer's left wrist with a smile. The Trailblazer only felt a slight chill and smelled the faint fragrance of nameless flowers, then dreamed of the Flowerland Hadi spoke of, finding themselves welcoming their own sweet death. Immediately after, Bayer arrived at the scene and called Aglaea to a halt, and only then did Hadi stop her actions. |
In fact, before Aglaea interrogated the Trailblazer, Hadi had already sent the news to Bayer to have him stop Aglaea. She also explained to the Trailblazer and Dan Heng that few people could sway Aglaea, and Bayer was one of the successful ones.
After the Trailblazer finished listening to the Voice of the Constellations, Bayer and Hadi together answered some of the Trailblazer's questions. The next day, Hadi, Aglaea, and the others waited for the warriors to conduct pre-battle mobilization. However, when Hadi proposed to go to the front line together, she was stopped by Aglaea and required to stay behind in the city.
After Vandi stayed in Okas City to fight Nikadori and stall for time, the Trailblazer, Dan Heng, Bayer, and Hadi headed to the "Abyss of Fate" to find Nikadori's weakness, to
After meeting Oronis, the Trailblazer received a glance from Fuli, stepped onto the Path of Remembrance, and gained a new companion, Mimi. Thus, Dan Heng and Baie went to support Wandi, while the Trailblazer, Xiadie, and Mimi collected memories of Castrum Sharpedge and returned to the past Castrum Sharpedge to continue the plan.
The past Castrum Sharpedge was in a state where "the Crown Prince had departed and the Titan was dazed." At this time, Castrum Sharpedge was in the midst of a dueling festival. The Trailblazer and Xiadie encountered
| “ | I must find it. The half that was stripped from me since birth... must be taken back from its hands. | ” |
On the day of the triumph, Baie asked Xiadie why she had stopped him then. Xiadie replied that the riddle "something more important than the fate of Amphoreus" was too cruel for Baie.
A long time had passed since Baie entered the Genesis Vortex to challenge the Trial of "Strife," and Xiadie and the other Golden Scions present were growing uneasy. At that moment, Tining heard some abnormalities in the trial, suggesting Baie might be in danger. Thus, Aglaea decided to have Wandi rescue Baie from the trial. Wandi requested the Trailblazer and Dan Heng to help him rescue Baie, with Xiadie ensuring the safety of the latter two.
After Wandi rescued Baie, he settled him in a room to rest, while Xiadie waited outside with the others.
Some time after Baie was rescued, Aglaea invited the two Nameless to meet at the Marble Sky Palace as a token of gratitude. Thus, Xiadie went to wake up the Trailblazer, who was sleeping in,and was potentially asked the classic Penacony question by the Trailblazer: Why does life slumber?. On the way, the two encountered Tibo and Ti'an arguing over whether to buy a gemstone that looked like a specialty from their hometown. The two parted on bad terms, and Xiadie later bought the gemstone. But after the Trailblazer's threat, the merchant sold it to Xiadie at cost price.. At the Marble Sky Palace, Fengjin, who is also of the Golden Lineage, shouting "Gray-宝, Dan-宝, Die-宝"appeared to discuss the treatment of the wounded and the Rational Titan with everyone. After seeing the injured messenger, it was decided that the Trailblazer, Xiadie, and Ti'an would head to the Tree Garden for rescue.
After the three arrived at the Sacred Tree Garden, they found the place unusually quiet. Guided by the mechanisms Nikasia had crafted using souls, they solved the puzzles along the way,Xiadie even recites a very embarrassing prayer to Moneta, and at the Arch-heart of Devotion, she brought Cersis's consciousness to the Divine Throne, where theythe Fire-Thief Walkerengaged in battle. Even though Xiadie used a death curse and Cersis launched a sneak attack after merging with Nikasia's soul, they failed to repel the Fire-Thief. Finally, Ti'an was forced to use the power of the Hundred Realms Gate, and Xiadie took the opportunity to sneak attack the Fire-Thief, temporarily alleviating the crisis.
After returning to Ocherma, Xiadie and the Trailblazer accompanied Nikasia to offer condolences to the families of some of the Tree Garden's victims. Afterward, Xiadie was surprised by the fact that "the Trailblazer touched her during the battle and nothing abnormal happened."started making her move。
After Ti'an's sacrifice, Xiadie finally finished the accessory made from the gemstone she had bought earlier. Upon giving it to Tibo, she learned that in Janusapolis, this gemstone is a memorial gift given to the relatives of the deceased. Tibo explained the meaning and blessing of "See you tomorrow" to Xiadie.
At the end of the story, Tibo, acting as the narrator, spoke of the Trailblazer "failing to escape the fingers of Death" in the future story, as well as the prophecy Xiadie learned after obtaining the Spark:
| “ | "At the end of the sea of flowers, the souls of the living shall warm thy fingertips... After the embrace, comes eternal parting." |

The Trailblazer arrived in the Underworld, where Xiade reintroduced herself as the Life aspect of Thanatos and guided the Trailblazer to resist the temptation of the Realm of Death through memories of their life and exit the Underworld. In exchange, Xiade handed the "Death" Fireseed to the Trailblazer, requesting that he/she not let their efforts thus far go to waste. With Xiade's help, the Trailblazer returned to the mortal realm. It is no easy feat for a lost soul to return to the mortal realm. The whispers of death are sweet and tranquil; if one's will is lacking, they will surely be held fast by the long arms of the Underworld.
| “ | Don't look back, look forward. Step out of the underworld and return to the living world. | ” |
After returning from the Underworld, the Trailblazer woke up and heard Xiade's voice coming from an unknown source:
|
The Trailblazer walks through the Twin Moon Tower following Xiadi's words. Xiadi eventually arrives before the Trailblazer riding the Death Dragon, asking to borrow his/her body heat once more. After the Trailblazer agrees, Xiadi gently embraces the Trailblazer and expresses her gratitude with happiness.
| “ | Thank you for fulfilling this wish for me. |
” |
After the embrace, Xiadi bids farewell to the Trailblazer and leaves the Twin Moon Tower once again on the Death Dragon, heading to the Underworld to fulfill her duty of watching over souls, leaving behind only a field of Antilin flowers.
| “ | Farewell, Your Excellency. May we... meet again in the new world. |
” |
When Wandi confronts the Fire-Thief Walker at the Dawn Cloud Cliff, Xiadi can be seen using her power to bind the Fire-Thief Walker's movements.
In the 2003432nd "Eternal Return," Xiadi used her Titan Body to fight against█████Chaoslana, and was defeated and killed.
In the final "Eternal Return," after the Trailblazer was taken away by Lykos, the Golden Descendants began a relay to chase the fire to prevent Lykos from completing the "Re-creation." They opened a path from Ochema to Styxia and then to the Genesis Vortex, and imprisoned Lykos within the Genesis Vortex.
After Aglaea died in the war initiated by Lykos, Castorice became the leader of the journey to chase the fire. Later, to eliminate the out-of-control Stygian waters, Castorice rushed to Styxia and became the Demigod of "Death," subsequently keeping the path from Styxia to the Genesis Vortex clear.
The Trailblazer wasMoon of the Long Nightconfined within the Memoria Tide, Castorice wrapped the Trailblazer with her divine authority to protect them, preventing the "Long Night" from touching the Trailblazer and ensuring their memories of the Golden Descendants and Omphalos would not be "forgotten."
After Dan Heng inherited the Flame of "Earth" and rescued the Trailblazer from the Memoria Tide, Hesione sensed Castorice's presence and brought her out as well. The two of them bid a final farewell to the Trailblazer for this cycle. In this life, Tybalt's prophecy regarding Castorice was once again fulfilled through the Trailblazer's arrival.

Standing in the flower sea of Antirrhinum, my mind should have been at peace, yet my thoughts are still drawn to the past from time to time. Therefore, I choose flying petals to write this letter, hoping the Zephyr might carry it toyouyour side. Thank you—I simply wanted to thank you for our meeting. When we meet again, I want to tell you in person. I will look forward to the arrival of that beautiful moment. Mail Attachments: Stellar Jade * 60, Fuel * 1 |

To-[14]Your Excellency: I... don't know how to greet you, for in this world, we have yet to meet. Miss Xylia once joked that in this life, the Trailblazer owes me a hug. At first, I only felt embarrassed hearing it, but after sinking into the Underworld and enduring long years, I actually felt a hint of envy toward the "me" who would meet you—and began to hope that this illusory debt could truly be repaid. Sigh, please don't laugh at me. The Underworld is more beautiful than I thought, and also colder. Here, I saw my sister Polycia, and many familiar or unfamiliar faces—for example, the hundreds of heroes who perished in the first Fire-chase; though their sanity was shattered, the nameplates on their chests still shone brightly. And then there was Lady Aglaea. She gave me a nymph for company, then quietly disappeared into the flower fields... Not long after, Teacher Tebal exhausted his divine power to open the path connecting Styxia and the Genesis Vortex, which was then maintained by Senior Hesperia with her divine power. Before leaving, Teacher Tebal instructed me to guard this passage well. Over the long years, I watched my companions pass away one by one from the Underworld; some of them couldn't even reach the Underworld, such as... Myriad Foes, who shattered his soul into five pieces, and Teacher Nakesha, who refined himself into a Philosopher's Stone. Until finally, no humans survived in all of Omphalos. To seal Lycus, Senior Hesperia had to concentrate all her divine power within the Feast of Styxia. Without the power of the ocean, the path connecting Styxia and the Genesis Vortex began to crumble. I finally made up my mind—to take the form of the Death Dragon's remains, manipulate the waters of the Styx, and protect that passage. Before turning myself into a Death Dragon, I racked my brains thinking about what I could leave for you. But as a Death Dragon, I naturally cannot expect anyone's hug anymore. In a daze, I remembered Miss Xylia once secretly told me that in the previous cycle, you hoped I would send you a "Nether-postcard" from the Underworld. So, while my current body can still hold a pen, I wrote this letter for you, and let the lushly growing Anthelin lift it out of the Underworld, waiting for you to pick it up. Long after, when you travel along that path to the Genesis Vortex, perhaps you will find this "Nether-postcard" among the Anthelin flowers. Or perhaps, by then, I will have exhausted my divine power and fallen into a deep sleep, and the Anthelin will have all withered... But this is certainly not a final farewell. If you can complete the mission of savingYour GraceRequest An embrace delayed for thousands of years. Shorekeeper |

To-[14]Your Excellency:
We step into the muddy wilderness. Gathering the dying petals, Letting their withered glory rest within the traveler's wreath. Footprints back and forth, weaving a path. Never did I imagine that one day I would wear the wreath, Stepping out of the snow realm, that twilight line dividing life and death, To a world where warmth still lingers, And wear a smile when embracing others. '''Before setting off, please take this wreath with you.''' It accompanied me through the long journey, wading through the nether shores, Reaching the end of the west wind, gazing at the world's rebirth. May those flowers, like fluttering butterflies, Rest upon your brow when you are weary, May the warmth and softness of life be with you always. Shorekeeper |
Aglaea is a DPS character who fights alongside the summoned Memoric Spirit "Dead Dragon • Polyx." The "Dead Dragon" deals damage to enemies by consuming its own HP; the more HP consumed, the higher the damage. In battle, the "Dead Dragon" can also take damage for allies in danger.

| About Self: Past I | I once walked alone like a stray butterfly, not knowing where to fly... Perhaps it was my companions from the Journey of Chasing Fire and Ohema, or perhaps the people I met along the way, who helped me find the direction for my next flight. |
| About Self: Past II | My younger sister left me the chance to live, the people of Styxia gave me their blessings for life, and the traditions of Aethelia gave me the meaning of life for the first time... I hope to pass these blessings on to more people—after all, "living" has never been the wish of just one person. |
| Chat | When reading, I like to immerse myself in the story. For example, even though I'm not good at cooking, when I flip through various recipes, I can see images of myself preparing the dishes... Isn't it magical? |
| Hobbies | Every time I see something cute, I always want to turn them into little plushies... Needle felting allows for the most accurate shapes, but using crochet and milk cotton stuffing makes them softer to the touch. Not just little animals, I can also make Zagreus silver coin dolls, or Boiled Dulu Egg dolls with different expressions... Holding them makes my sleep exceptionally peaceful and sweet. |
| Troubles | I want to raise two little Chimeras, bury my face in their sun-warm fur, and run across the fields with them... But, no... I'll just make two more Chimera plushies instead. |
| Sharing | During my days in Aethelria, I worked with the people to weave deep blue "Anthelin flowers" into beautiful wreaths, placing them on the fallen warriors before watching them drift down the Styx... And so it went, day after day... |
| Observations | The homesick mumbles of a warrior, a mother's lullaby to comfort her child, a young girl's final letter to her lover... With every funeral rite completed, I gain another memory left behind by the departed—all of which were once the warmth of their living breath. |
| regarding-[14] | When the flowers bloom again, if we can meet once more in the new world, please don't forget our promise. |
| About Polysia | Now I understand. My sister couldn't bear to see the petals wither, so she watched over the sea of flowers constantly until they reached the end of their lives—now, I too will accompany the lost souls alongside her. |
| regardingAglaea | Only hands cold enough can grasp a burning ember... Lady Aglaia must have understood this long ago. |
| regardingTribbie· Tian & Tining | Everyone wants to break out of their cocoon as a butterfly and fly into the vast sky, but only they... chose to return to the cocoon, for the rebirth of this world. |
| regardingMyriad Foes | Death brought by conflict is often filled with pain and darkness, but what His Excellency the Myriad Foe grants his opponents is a sacrifice of honor and light. |
| regardingWhite Calamity | The more one has lost, the firmer their desire to reclaim everything becomes... Perhaps that is why he will lead the world to the very end. |
| regardingNakesha | My teacher once warned me that one should remain calm even when facing the deceased, and not to voice the sorrow in one's heart. It wasn't until later that I understood—for him, "practicing death" was the proposition that spanned his entire life. |
| regardingFuu Sumire | Despite having witnessed so many partings of life and death, she still sheds |
| regardingSapphire | That lady became a demigod very early on. Her mind is mysterious, and her whereabouts are even more unpredictable... She always complains that the journey of chasing fire will surely result in a total loss, but I always feel there is some unspoken hardship behind it... |
| regardingHestia | Speaking of which, this beautiful sword knight... I once wrote many poems about her based on Master Tibo's stories. In my imagination, she was always as pure as the waves and as elegant as the tides... After meeting her, I found it to be truly so. |
| regardingClepsydra | I still remember that in the underworld, the flower belonging to "Caesar" was always different from others. Even if small and thin, those blue flowers could always tenaciously break through the soil, blooming with petals that are one in ten thousand. |
| regardingMarch 7th | I heard that Miss March also likes writing diaries and doing handicrafts. Would she prefer plushies... or Chimera pillows? If we have the chance to travel together, I'm sure we'll never be lonely. |
| regardingDan Heng • Tenghuang | I can see that although Lord Dan Heng is usually not fond of verbal expression, he truly cherishes every life around him from the bottom of his heart, no matter how small they may be. |
| regardingXilian | If possible, I would also like to handcraft a brilliant crystal flower for her as a gift... just like the "Memory" she once bestowed upon this world, never withering and forever flawless. |
| Eidolon Activation | Even on the coldest shore, there will be the fragrance of flowers. |
| Character Ascension | Look, the light is shining in. |
| Max Level | All things flow, and life and death have their order... The end is also a beginning. |
| Trace Activated | The traces left in the world are far longer than death. |
| Team Setup·-[14] | Don't worry. On the battlefield, the curse I bear is also a blessing. |

| Team Setup·Clepsydra | The battlefield is merciless; may all souls rest in a sea of flowers. |
| Team Setup·March 7th | Miss March, would you like to make dolls together after this is over? |

The remains of "Death" left in the boundary between life and death, awakened once more to struggle against fate.
The demigod could not bear to witness an old friend heading towards an end more cruel than "Death", and thus reached out a long arm to hold them back. Even if only withered bones and rotten flesh remain, their power and determination are not to be underestimated.
Only appears in the Trailblaze Mission "Because the Sun Shall Be Damaged."
Skills are the same as "Soul-Ferrying Specter, Dead Dragon's Remains, Polydeuces."
