Defeated humanity fled underground, and the Ark is the only remaining residence for humans.
The masters of the surface are no longer human.
Nikke—humanity's last hope to reclaim the surface; with this name of hope, the girls head to the surface.
Nikkes can only be produced by the Ark's Big Three companies. The produced Nikkes belong to the Central Government, and they not only reclaim the surface but also perform duties in various fields within the Ark.
Nikkes must absolutely obey human orders and are absolutely unable to harm humans, even if their lives are threatened.[8]
Humanoid weapons manufactured by the Ark's Big Three companies.Homunculus: ?[9], obeying the orders of the Central Government. Their powerful strength is enough to repel the Raptures, and they are also the hope for humanity to return to the surface.
In the Ark, some Nikkes, in addition to being responsible for clearing enemies, also work multiple part-time jobs, such as construction workers, train conductors, etc.
Their brains come from donations by normal humans, and most of their memories are wiped; they will not recall memories of their past lives.
Although Nikkes look no different from humans, they exist in the Ark as weapons, following human commands, lacking the human rights that normal humans should have, and not receiving respect from most humans.
Nikkes are divided into three classes: Attacker, Supporter, and Defender.
With the help ofNIMPHDue to the characteristics of NIMPH (Neuro-Implanted Machine for Protecting Human), Nikkes possess immortality, meaning they do not age or die over time, though they can still be killed in battle. After the secrets of NIMPH were leaked, Raptures used NIMPH to brainwash some lost Nikkes, turning them into weapons under the Raptures' command—Heretics.
Enemies of humanity with various strange appearances. In the battles on the surface, humans were defeated by the Raptures and forced to flee underground, leaving the Raptures as the masters of the surface.
Raptures can think but cannot speak. However, some Raptures, such as Chatterbox, have acquired the ability to speak due to their research on Nikkes.
The highest governing body of the Ark, responsible for all its affairs. In addition to deploying Nikkes to the surface for combat missions, the Central Government also manages all daily life in the Ark to ensure normal underground operations.
The Central Government is the supreme command authority for Nikkes; Commanders and Nikkes must obey the Central Government's orders unconditionally.Except for Pilgrims。
All Nikkes are researched and manufactured by the Big Three corporations under the supervision of the Central Government. Besides the Big Three, there are "Pilgrims" who do not belong to any corporation and wander the surface.
The primary contributor to crafting Nikkes into the ultimate weapons. They subject all their Nikkes to militarized training, giving them a military-like appearance and demeanor.
The current CEO is Ingrid, who has partnered with the Commander to uncover the truth about the Heretics.
Gathering the Ark's most cutting-edge scientific achievements and actively applying next-generation technology to Nikkes, it is the vanguard of the Ark's high-tech power.
The current CEO is Syuen, who is domineering and arrogant, and has caused the Commander a great deal of trouble.
A Nikke manufacturing company led by "Entertainment." Most of the Nikkes they produce are responsible for the Ark's commercial and entertainment industries; in their view, combat is also just a form of entertainment.
The current CEO is Mustang.
"Free agents" who have left the Ark for various reasons, or for no reason and with unknown purposes, roaming and fighting on the surface without belonging to any corporation.
Due to their unique combat mechanisms, they have become key research subjects for the Central Government, which hopes to find the answer to humanity's victory over the Raptures through them.
The game adopts a real-time combat mode. The Commander (player) can manually control up to five Nikkes or enable auto mode to let the Nikkes fight on their own. The controls are no different from traditional shooting games, with the "Burst Mode" being a unique feature. Nikke's Burst Mode is divided into three stages; when the Burst Mode reaches the third stage, the entire team enters "Full Burst Mode," significantly increasing the Nikkes' combat power and operational efficiency. The game features an elemental advantage system with no neutral attributes. The advantage relationship is determined by the Codes held by the Nikkes and enemies, following the pattern: Electric beats Water, Water beats Fire, Fire beats Wind, Wind beats Iron, and Iron beats Electric.
The game provides various currencies for the Commander to exchange for items and perform other operations.
Main game interface. The Lobby provides access to various functional areas. You can place your favorite Nikkes or collected CGs in the Lobby.
The main storyline. Divided into several chapters, Commanders can lead Nikkes in battle to unlock subsequent plots.

Lost items can be found on the map. Collecting a certain number of them grants rewards such as Gems.
The Ark is the home that humanity relies on for survival after moving underground. In the Ark, Commanders can train their Nikkes and obtain various rewards.
The Outpost is the forward station for the Commander and Nikkes on the surface, and it is the Commander's home. In the Outpost, Commanders can use blueprints found in stage maps to construct buildings and trigger Brief Encounters with Nikkes. Additionally, the Outpost features various buildings that assist the Commander in developing Nikkes.
Commanders can increase Nikkes' combat power through various means.
Commanders can use Gems, Recruit Vouchers, and other items to recruit stronger Nikkes.
It is worth noting that due to the special nature of Pilgrims, although they are in the same tier as other SSR Nikkes, their acquisition probability is lower, and they cannot be added to the Wishlist.

Additionally, there are Side Quests interspersed within each chapter's plot. Completing these quests grants rewards such as Nikke growth materials.

Although "Goddess of Victory: Nikke" initially had a decent reputation, the planners modified some models from the test server and removed some suggestive movements and plots to expand the game's audience, which caused dissatisfaction among players who were motivated by such content. At the same time, because the rewards after the game's launch were far below player expectations, and bugs such as crashes and data loss occurred frequently, "Goddess of Victory: Nikke" drew criticism from players worldwide, causing its reputation to plummet. The Google Play rating in the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan regions also dropped from 4.1 at launch to 1.6 in mid-December 2022.
