- Toru Amuro: Appeared as a waiter at the pre-wedding party of Kogoro Mori's classmate, claiming to be a private detective, and later became Kogoro's apprentice, working as a waiter at Café Poirot below the Mori Detective Agency.

Bourbon（ ）, a mystic who acts alongside Vermouth. After Shuichi Akai's death, he set out to investigate the truth behind it. He failed to capture Sherry on the Bell Tree Express and believed she was dead. In the Scarlet Arc, he nearly exposed the secret that Subaru Okiya is Shuichi Akai. He confirmed that Akai was alive but withheld this information from the organization, continuing to stay undercover near Kogoro by the organization's orders. - Rei Furuya: Real name; true identity is an undercover agent from the National Police Agency Security Bureau Security Planning Division[5]sent into the Black Organization. He has extremely strong reasoning and observation skills. In fact, by recombining the names "Amuro Ray" and "Furuya Toru," you get "Amuro Tooru" and "Furuya Rei."

Since Toru Amuro's debut, he has maintained a certain level of popularity among Conan fans due to his morally ambiguous image. In 2016, after the release of Movie 20 "The Darkest Nightmare," the Shuichi Akai × Toru Amuro (abbreviated as AkAm) pairing became a massive hit in the Japanese doujin circle. Pairings involving Toru Amuro have consistently held a place on the fan art website Pixiv. From 2016 to the present, AkAm has topped the list of Conan-related fan creations for several consecutive years, with Amuro × Conan (AmCo) ranking second.[17]. Toru Amuro's popularity reached its first peak.
Since then, due to Toru Amuro's indispensable role in the main storyline, his popularity has never waned. In 2018, Movie 22 "Zero the Enforcer," the first movie featuring Toru Amuro as the protagonist, pushed his popularity in Japan to its peak. To date, the movie has grossed over 11 billion yen worldwide. (It is worth mentioning that when "Zero the Enforcer" was released, the Hollywood blockbuster "Avengers: Infinity War" was also in theaters; Japan was the only country in the world where "Avengers: Infinity War" did not take the box office crown, as "Zero the Enforcer" ranked first.) Due to his high popularity among Japanese girls, Toru Amuro became the new generation's "national husband." Subsequently, various Amuro-related merchandise was released.
