His original name was "Yingxing." His hometown was destroyed by the Borisin fleet and turned into a weapon ranch. After escaping to the Xianzhou, he studied weapon forging diligently, swearing to eradicate the Abominations of Abundance. He studied under General Huaiyan, the "Flaming Catastrophe" of the Xianzhou Zhuming, earning recognition as a craftsman at a young age and later receiving the title of "Furnace Master." When Baiheng accompanied the Yaoqing delegation to the Zhuming, Yingxing welcomed them. Following Huaiyan's orders, he led them to the Flaming Wheel Forge and activated a mechanism, allowing the Flint Lord to give the delegation a daunting reception. Yingxing shared deep bonds with Jingliu, Dan Feng, Jing Yuan, and Baiheng; the five were collectively known as the "High-Cloud Quintet." Yingxing once forged a hundred extraordinary items, the most famous of which were the sword "Shards" used by Jingliu, the bow used by Baiheng, the spear "Cloud-Piercer" used by Imbibitor Lunae, and the array glaive "Starfall" used by Jing Yuan. During the Shuhu Uprising, he witnessed Baiheng sacrifice herself to save Jingliu and Dan Feng, perishing along with Shuhu, the Emanator of Abundance. During the "Sedition of Imbibitor Lunae," Yingxing fought to protect others and was severely wounded. He should have died, but because he was tainted by Shuhu's flesh and blood, he gained a power of immortality far exceeding that of the Xianzhou people and was resurrected[5]. After the Xianzhou learned that Yingxing was not dead, they marked him as a major criminal. Jingliu also sought out Yingxing again and killed him repeatedly. During this process, the sword Shards was shattered and abandoned by Jingliu. Partly because he lost the nimble hands that had forged a thousand wonders, and partly because he had experienced death and made seeking death and revenge his only two goals for the rest of his life, Yingxing abandoned his original name and called himself "Blade." He picked up the shattered sword Shards and memorized the sword techniques Jingliu had carved into his body. Since then, through the resonance between a pair of bracers held by Blade and Dan Heng respectively, Blade began his endless pursuit of revenge against Dan Heng. Seeking only death, Blade was pierced through by Dan Heng's spear time and again as Dan Heng fought without restraint. However, possessing Shuhu's blessing, Blade was able to reappear before Dan Heng after falling over and over again. Later, Blade encountered the Stellaron Hunters Kafka and Fire While carrying out the mission in Jepella, Blade drove Firefly to the Jepella Palace. Because Blade always seeks death, Firefly couldn't help but question whether he had a driver's license and raised concerns about speeding and fatigued driving. In response, Blade asked why Firefly didn't transform into Sam, to which Firefly replied that she wanted to stay in this form for a bit longer before the mission. On the way, the two talked about the mission in Penacony. Blade envied that Firefly's script included three "deaths," hoping she would find her own answer or relief there. Firefly responded that she knew she would eventually die, but she hoped she could still make a choice and die as a "human" rather than a "weapon," with the name "Firefly" carved on her tombstone. |
During the Stellaron crisis on the Xianzhou Luofu, Blade and Kafka infiltrated the Luofu together. Blade intentionally allowed himself to be arrested by the Cloud Knights and was imprisoned in the Shackling Prison. Blade wasJing YuanDuring the interrogation, Dan Heng had nightmares related to Blade. Afterwards, BladeBy force,he escaped from the Shackling Prison.[6],Xueyiattempted to capture him, but was severely injured instead.

| “ | Jing Yuan, you are not one of them |

Kafka negotiated with the Astral Express Crew and lured the Astral Express to dock at the Luofu with the Stellaron crisis and the request to rescue Blade.
When the Ambrosial Arbor sprouted, Blade suddenly appeared in the Divination Commission, blocking those pursuing KafkaTrailblazerand left with Kafka.
Yanqingwent to Cloudford alone to investigate the starskiff Blade seized during his escape in order to capture him,Jingliualso came to the Luofu to find Blade; the two, sharing the same goal, once had a dispute.
Blade and Kafka encountered Dan Heng and Yanqing, who had come to arrest them, in Scalegorge Waterscape. Facing the aggressive Yanqing, Blade found an opening after some defense and threw a sword that pierced Dan Heng, forcing him to transform into Imbibitor Lunae and fight Yanqing. Because Yanqing used a sword technique imitating Jingliu, Blade's fighting spirit soared, and he asked Kafka to lift the restrictions on his true strength.
The confrontation between Blade, Dan Heng (as Imbibitor Lunae), and Yanqing was forcibly interrupted by Kafka using Spirit Whisper, and Jing Yuan arrived on the scene just in time. After a brief exchange, out of gratitude for Blade forcing Dan Heng into his Imbibitor Lunae state, Blade and Kafka were allowed to leave with Jing Yuan's permission.
If the Trailblazer chooses to report Todd, after Todd asks the Trailblazer to witness his end, Blade will appear near the High Elder statue in Scalegorge Waterscape to mourn Todd's folly. Todd will also comment on how someone who hasn't said a word has been watching the place.
BladeHe bluntly refused the Trailblazer's use of "Bladie" to address him, andclaimed that Elio has other arrangements for the Trailblazer, so he would let the Trailblazer leave this time, and lamented the folly committed by Todd and others who pursue immortality and youth.
Blade's Mara-struck condition has worsened, and since his wanted warrant hasn't been revoked, he cannot leave the Luofu. Kafka needs to use her Spirit Whisper to suppress his Mara, but she needs someone to protect them during the process. To this end, she asks the Trailblazer for help to stand guard for them.
Jingliu、Dan Heng、YanqingOn the way to Scalegorge Waterscape, Jingliu talks to Dan Heng at the Artisanship Commission about the experiences of Blade's past life, Yingxing. Jingliu says that Yingxing's home planet was destroyed by the Borisin. He came to the Xianzhou as a short-life species and studied engineering and craftsmanship diligently to eliminate the Abominations of Abundance, eventually earning the title of "Furnace Master." However, because he was a short-life species, he could not lead the Artisanship Commission. Eventually, he became close friends with the other four members of the "High-Cloud Quintet." After Baiheng's death, Yingxing attempted to use the flesh of an Emanator of Abundance to help Imbibitor Lunae resurrect Baiheng, which resulted in the Sedition of Imbibitor Lunae, and he himself was transformed into an immortal abomination. After the Sedition of Imbibitor Lunae was suppressed, Jingliu took Yingxing's hollow shell of a body from the Shackling Prison, taught him swordplay, granted him a hundred deaths, and taught him never to forget the karmic retribution of his past life. Finally, he named himself "Blade."
Blade arrived at Scalegorge Waterscape, where he and the one waiting thereJing Yuanmet, then Jingliu and Dan Heng arrived. Except for Baiheng, who died in the war, the "High-Cloud Quintet" gathered once again, just as they had promised under the High Elder statue in Scalegorge Waterscape hundreds of years ago. Subsequently, Jingliu recounted the sins committed by Dan Heng's past life Imbibitor Lunae, Blade's past life Yingxing, and herself, stating that it was now time to pay the price ("Of five people, three must pay a price."), and that the "High-Cloud Quintet" should bid each other farewell.
Subsequently, Jingliu accompanied Jing Yuan to the Yuque. Before they departed, Blade stopped Jingliu to claim a reward she owed him, but Jingliu stated that even she could not kill Blade, as a mortal blade cannot kill the flesh of an Emanator. At Blade's insistence, the two engaged in a duel. In the end, Jingliu killed Blade temporarily once again. Before his death, Blade recalled the earliest memory of this life, which was being repeatedly killed by Jingliu's sword. After recovering from his brief death, Blade told Dan Heng that since Jingliu still could not kill him, he would continue to hunt Dan Heng down.
Blade (including his time as Yingxing) did not personally participate in the Amphoreus plot, but appeared briefly as a memory projection.
