Anime Version
- The anime adaptation was announced in 2017.
- Season 1 of the anime began weekly updates on Niconico Douga on July 14, 2018, with a total of 6 episodes. The OVA was pre-sold at the C94 venue held from August 10 to 12, 2018. The limited first edition went on sale at Toranoana on August 13, with general sales following later.
- In August 2018, the production of the second season of the anime was announced.
- Season 2 was updated every Friday on Niconico Douga starting from November 22, 2019, with a total of 6 episodes. The BD was released on December 31, 2019.
- On August 2, 2022, it was announced that the third season of the anime, "I Want You To Make a Disgusted Face and Show Me Your Underwear 3 (Working Title)," would be crowdfunded on the crowdfunding site Fanbeats. On September 6, 2022, director Saya Fukase stated in an interview that because producer Ikuo Sato absconded with over 5 million yen in production costs during the production of the second season, Fukase had to use his own savings for a house to cover the shortfall for Season 2 and part of the production costs for Season 3. Since Season 3 is still short of funds, they hope to use the power of fans to crowdfund the remaining production costs.[1]
